Erica Sessa Wins Training Jumper Division at the ESP Holiday Festival I Show

RELEASE: December 15, 2009
AUTHOR/ADMINISTRATOR: By JRPR

Erica Sessa and Lightly Frosted started the holidays in festive style, winning the Training Jumper division at the Equestrian Sport Productions Holiday Festival I Show. Sessa, who raised the Quarter Horse/Arabian cross herself, rode the eight-year-old gelding to the championship in the division sponsored by The Sanctuary Equine Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation Center in Ocala.

“They had a nice, smooth but very fast ride,” said Sessa’s trainer, Marianne Pack, of Competition Farm in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. “Erica is a very strong rider. She has ridden with me for 13 years and is showing Lightly Frosted in the low adult jumpers now.”

“It’s always wonderful to hear about someone who has raised and trained their own horse and goes on to achieve success,” said Brenda McDuffee, General Manager of The Sanctuary. “At The Sanctuary we have helped many jumpers with rehab and conditioning and are aware it is a physically demanding sport. We treat equines from a every discipline as we are dedicated to the healing, conditioning and well being of all equine athletes.”
