FEI TV Featured on Over 350 Online Platforms

RELEASE: December 15, 2009
AUTHOR/ADMINISTRATOR: By Malina Gueorguiev

The Interntational Equestrian Federation (FEI) is pleased to announce that its official video website FEI TV (www.feitv.org) has stretched its wings to conquer new ground, becoming the first and only equestrian channel available on Perform’s e-Player platform.

This exciting development allows selected and specifically packaged FEI TV content to be accessed, watched and enjoyed for free by the millions of daily users of over 350 international websites and online portals of mass media publications, spread across some of the heartlands of equestrian sport. This is achieved through an FEI TV channel within Perform’s e-Player platform, which is embedded into these partner websites, offering a fine selection of FEI TV Video on Demand content—constantly updated throughout the year with previews, reviews, interviews, updates and equestrian stories.

In the UK, the online versions of iconic flagship publications such as The Times, The Independent, The Telegraph and The Guardian can now offer their audiences high profile equestrian video footage and thereby enhance value and attractiveness of their related editorial sections, while in Spain the service will be available on the country’s most important online sport portal www.as.com.

Italian users can find this condensed and free version of FEI TV on highly popular pages such as www.ilgiornale.it, www.tiscali.it and www.fastweb.it while the online communities of Australia and New Zealand are provided with snapshots of all the excitement the sport has to offer through partners such as www.sportal.com.au, www.sportflash.com.au and www.sportal.co.nz, all among the leading new media publications in their individual markets.

This latest move of FEI TV is considered a significant step for the FEI towards broadening the reach and awareness of the sport and its different disciplines beyond the established equestrian communities, thus providing these new target groups of viewers—in particular younger and web savvy audience from all backgrounds—the opportunity to discover and appreciate equestrian sport in their preferred online environments.
