USEF Announces 2010 Eventing Developing Riders

– The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) Eventing High Performance program congratulates the following horse and rider combinations for their acceptance into the 2010 Developing Rider Program. To be considered for the program, riders either submitted an application, or were recommended by a Talent Spotter, indicated by TS
. Applications were reviewed by the Talent Spotters and approved by the Eventing High Performance Committee.

A total of 36 applications were received from six USEA Areas, and several riders were nominated by Talent Spotters.
Accepted horse/rider combinations will be invited to participate in one two-day training session with Capt. Mark Phillips, which may be held in conjunction with the High Performance Training List sessions. After the initial training sessions, some exceptional riders may be invited to participate in further training sessions with the High Performance List riders. Riders selected to participate in these training sessions will also become eligible for the Amanda Warrington Fund Grant. This $5,000 Grant will be awarded to a rider recommended by Mark Phillips and approved by the Amanda Warrington Fund Grant Committee. ENDS
