Reduced Registry Fees for Morgans Ends October 31

RELEASE: October 15, 2009
AUTHOR/ADMINISTRATOR: By the American Morgan Horse Association

Do you need to register your Morgan foal? Do you have a transfer that needs to be completed? The American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA) Registry Department is offering an "Economic Stimulus Sale" for non-members until October 31. The AMHA Board of Directors at its May Board meeting, recognizing the economic stresses facing many Morgan horse owners, approved this temporary fee reduction.

All registry transactions purchased by non-members are now at member rates plus $30. If you have several registry transactions that you haven't sent in, you could be saving hundreds of dollars. A moratorium on transfer fees for multiple transfers on the same horse also is in effect. Multiple transfers submitted at the same time on the same horse will be processed for a fee of $40 for members and $70 for non-members. Please note member rates are unaffected.

Call the Registry Department at (802) 985-4944 or email registry@morganhorse.com with any questions.
