Tickets for Seventh Annual Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament Now On Sale

Tickets for the Seventh Annual Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament featuring the 126th National Horse Show are now on sale to the public and available at the Oncenter Box Office in Syracuse, NY, and through Ticketmaster. Dates for this year's five-day event are October 28-November 1 at the War Memorial and Oncenter Complex.

One of the nation's premiere international equestrian events, the Syracuse Invitational features top-ranked riders from around the world competing for $400,000 in total prize money and World Cup qualifying points. This year also marks the second year that the Syracuse Invitational will host the National Horse Show, adding to the depth of competition and excitement.

There are many free events open to the public that do not require ticketing. For times and dates of those events, please visit www.syracuseinvitational.com.

Ticket information: Tickets for featured Tournament competitions (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at 7 p.m.; Saturday at 2 p.m. and at 7 p.m.; and Sunday at 2 p.m.) range from $10.00 to $25.00 and are available through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com) and the Oncenter Box Office (315-435-2121). Competitions not listed above as ticketed are free.

In addition to the competition in the arena, the Tournament offers a free Equestrian Expo with shopping, dining, exhibits, children's activities, live entertainment, and a host of educational demonstrations and lectures.

About the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament: Each fall, the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament welcomes the top-ranked equestrians from across the U.S. and the world to downtown Syracuse to compete at the War Memorial Arena in the Oncenter Complex. The event features a full slate of high-level competition, entertainment, shopping and exhibitions and runs October 28 to November 1, 2009. A 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, the Syracuse Invitational benefits Cornell University Equine Hospital and the Vera House.
