The Pennsylvania National Horse Show in Harrisburg, PA, will host the annual USEF National Junior Jumper Championships, which will be held October 14-16, 2010. This exciting jumper competition for junior riders features both a Team Championship and an Individual Championship.
Zone InvitationsEach Zone may field a team of the top four horse/rider combinations that have applied from their respective zone’s National Junior Jumper Championship Standings. A team is comprised of at least three horse/rider combinations but no more than four horse/rider combinations. In the case of no team sent forth from a Zone, that Zone may send up to two individual horse/rider combinations.
Each Zone’s horse/rider standings will be based on money won in the classes indicated below and can be located on the USEF website at www.usef.org. If a rider has two horses in the top four, that rider may choose which horse he or she will take and the next highest-placed horse/rider combination will be placed on the team. If for any reason a horse/rider combination is not able to compete as part of the team, the next available horse/rider combination will be invited to compete. In the event of a tie in the standings, the tie will be broken by the number of first places, followed by the number of second places, and so on until the tie is broken.
