AUTHOR/ADMINISTRATOR: By Jessica Fisher

The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA) has announced that it will once again offer a live webcast of important activities at its annual convention, Thursday, February 12, through Saturday, February 14, at the Marriott Griffin Gate Resort and Spa in Lexington, KY.

The association’s website, www.saddlebred.com, will be utilized to broadcast the Saddlebred Convention worldwide. Those unable to attend will be able to watch and listen on Friday and Saturday during selected forums, luncheons, and the Annual Prize Giving at the Saddlebred Ball, from the Marriott Griffin Gate Ball Room.

Fees for the webcast will be on a pay-per-day-per-computer basis, with non-members pricing at $15 per day, or at a 10% package rate discount of $27 for both Friday and Saturday events. ASHA members receive a 20% discount, with a fee of $12 per day, or at around a 10% package rate discount of $22 for both days together.

Friday’s video streaming will begin with the Amateur-Owner Trainer Open Forum, from 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time through 11:30 a.m. The important afternoon Open Discussion on Saddlebreds for Every Generation, will be available from 1:30 p.m. through 5 p.m. Eastern Time.

On Saturday, the webcast will begin at 8 a.m. with the Educational Forum for Saddlebred Owners and Breeders. Video streaming will continue from 10:30 a.m. until Noon Eastern Time, with the Open Members Forum on Marketing the Breed: Surviving the Change Preceding the Annual Meeting. Coverage of the luncheon will take place from 12 p.m. through 1 p.m. Eastern Time, with the live coverage concluding at the Saddlebred Ball, Saturday evening, starting at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
