Hunter Trainer Ken Smith to Host Clinic in Wellington, FL

RELEASE: October 30, 2008
AUTHOR/ADMINISTRATOR: By Equestrian Sport Productions

The successful hunter rider and trainer Ken Smith will host the November clinic in the new series of monthly training sessions at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) on Friday, November 14. Smith is renowned as a competitor at the top levels of the sport, including the World Cup Hunter Rider Hunter Spectacular, and as a highly successful trainer of hunter and equitation riders throughout North America.

Riders of all levels are welcome to participate in the clinic with Smith, based in Wellington. The cost is $100. Auditors are welcome and there is no charge. The clinic starts at 4 p.m.

Clinic reservations can be made through Rosemary Bertin at (561) 371-9598 or by email to cubbybertin@comcast.net or Charlie Moorcroft at (561) 568-6726 or by email to Moorcroftcharles@aol.com.

The monthly clinics have been created by Equestrian Sport Productions, LLC, the management company of PBIEC, to bring world-class training and teaching at an affordable price to as many riders as possible.

The inaugural clinican was Geoff Teall, co-founder of the American Hunter Jumper Foundation, an "R" rated judge for hunter and equitation and the author of the acclaimed book, Geoff Teall on Riding Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation.

That clinic had to be postponed due to illness, but will be re-scheduled.

Laura Kraut, 2008 Olympic Team Gold medalist, is also tentatively scheduled to host one of the clinics. Details will be announced when the date and time are confirmed.
