EVENT: Dallas Harvest Horse Show, with classes that benefit Habitat for Horses.
WHAT: Tyler's most prestigious horse show. The 'AA' rated show is one of the most prestigious horse shows in Texas. An important stop on any show tour, the expansive show grounds cater to exhibitors and horses with top-notch facilities and services. Dallas Harvest Horse Show is unsurpassed in hospitality, offering complimentary breakfast every morning of competition, exhibitor dinners, daily snacks and cold drinks as well as several ticketed parties, with the proceeds benefiting Habitat for Horses.
Sanctioned and recognized by: United States Equestrian Federation, rated AA in hunters and three star in jumpers; Texas Hunter Jumper Association, rated A, Equiventure/Antares Challenge. The show is great for equestrians who want top competition and a friendly atmosphere. Judges: Mindy Darst, Betty Oare, Ginger Black, Mike Lowry, and Lewis Pack.
Dallas Harvest Horse Show is known for its great hospitality, friendly ambiance and top competition. A "From the Judge's Perspective" United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) Judges Clinic will be held free of charge for all who would like to attend, a silent auction, Hunter Derby Reception sponsored by Tyler Plastic Surgery, a Grand Prix "Team" Calcutta & Exhibitor Dinner, and a Sunday Grand Prix Brunch, all benefiting Habitat are in the schedule. Classes include the $25,000 Dallas Harvest Grand Prix benefiting Habitat for Horses, the $15,000 ASG Software Solutions/USHJA International Hunter Derby, the $5,000 Jumper Classic, the $3,000 Welcome Stake sponsored by Nordic Lights Farm and The Bruheim Family, and the $2,500 Children's/Adult Jumper Classic.

VIP SEATING: Tables and tickets for the Grand Prix and Brunch and Hunter Derby Reception are available. The Hospitality Tent offers seats overlooking the ring. A table for the Grand Prix and Brunch and admission for eight to the Hunter Derby Reception includes eight seats and is $800. A table for the Grand Prix and Brunch (Priority Seating) is $750. Tickets for the Grand Prix, Brunch and Hunter Derby Reception are $100 each. Tickets for the Grand Prix and Brunch are $75 each. Tickets for the Hunter Derby Reception are $50 each. THE CHARITY: The Dallas Harvest Horse Show is a very active supporter and contributor to Habitat for Horses. This charity has been in operation for the past 10 years. Habitat for Horses is an instrumental organization that saves distressed horses and provides a safe and secure home while rehabilitating them for adoption. Habitat for Horses is the largest equine protection organization in the country.
Habitat works hand-in-hand with law enforcement to uphold all animal cruelty laws and seek justice for those who mistreat horses. Though the wonderful employees and volunteers of the organization, Habitat for Horses has created and implemented educational outreach programs. Their facility creates a sanctuary for horses that are available for adoption, foster, and retirement.
