Kentucky State Fair Pleasure, Park Qualifying Period Ends June 30; Deadline Approaching for Registrations

The American Saddlebred Horse Association (ASHA), administrator for the Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show qualifying system, announced that Monday, June 16, 2008, is the deadline for any competitions to be properly recorded in order that points accumulated at those shows may be counted for exhibitors. Any competitions held for Saddlebreds between July 1, 2007, and June 30, 2008, must be properly recorded with the ASHA per the rules available on its website at
www.asha.net/WCHS-Results.
In addition, ASHA announced that all recorded competitions held during the qualifying period, up through the week ending Sunday, June 8, must submit official results, along with a prize list/show schedule, by Monday, June 16, as well. Early competitions must submit proper results by the deadline or no points will be tabulated for results from those shows. These early competitions include:
