2008 Equus Equestrian Idol Open Call to Performers; The 2007 Contenders are Back

The competition will be fierce at the 2008 EQUUS Equestrian Idol Musical Talent Show on Saturday, February 9, 2008. Taylor Blauweiss, the first Equestrian Idol, will open the show to a line-up of talented equestrians vying for the title of 2008 Equestrian Idol, including the 2007 finalists Patricia Griffith, Brian Lookabill and Ki-Juan Minors.
The event benefits The EQUUS Foundation, Inc., and will be held at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL.

The Equestrian Idol event promises to be a fun-filled evening to raise funds for The Equus Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity established to raise public awareness of the valuable role horses play in modern society. EQUUS accomplishes its mission through education and the award of grants to charities that promote the positive use of the horse for the benefit of the general public, improve the quality of life of horses, contribute to the welfare of the participants in the equestrian sport, and elevate the equestrian sport and profession as a whole.
