Trainer/Owner of DreamView Stables Eddy Leidenheimer Mourned

Edward “Eddy” Leidenheimer, American Saddlebred trainer and owner of DreamView Stables of Versailles, KY, died Saturday, June 23, 2007. He was 28 years old.

Leidenheimer was a member of the American Saddlebred Horse Association, the Unied Professional Horseman's Association and the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF). He will be honored posthumously at the Lexington Junior League Horse Show on Thursday, July 12. Memorial trophies in his honor have been announced for the American Saddlebred Association of the Carolinas (ASAC) Horse Show and for the Kentucky State Fair World’s Championship Horse Show.

Leidenheimer is survived by his mother, Barbara “Bobbi” Leidenheimer, and sister, Stephanie Leidenheimer.

The Eddy Leidenheimer Foundation for chromosome and leukemia research is being established as well as a scholarship in his name. Donations may be sent to the Eddy Leidenheimer Foundation, P.O. Box 1662, Danville, KY 40423.
