Makayla Clyne
Born: March 7, 1997
Hometown: Monte Sereno, California
At 12 years old, Makayla Clyne (who has been vaulting since she was 6) was the youngest member of the 2009 team that represented the U.S. It was her second time competing internationally with the Mt. Eden “A” team; she was also on the 2007 squad.
In 2008, she was sixth in the Women’s Bronze level at the AVA Region II Championships and Reserve Champion at the Bronze level at the USEF/AVA National Vaulting Championships.
Clyne also owns her own horse, Jacey, and loves to (when she’s not vaulting), spend time at home with her dog and mini horse.
